Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!
As 2015 draws to a close and with the holidays only a few weeks away, we here at Manitoba Wheelchair Sport Association would like to wish all of you a very merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and best of luck in the New Year!
MWSA has many exciting things planned for our members and athletes in 2016! Our provincial wheelchair basketball and rugby teams will be preparing for athlete selections and inter-provincial competitions. Additionally, we will be supporting our CWBL club team and the Winnipeg 76ers in preparation for their upcoming season and competitions.
MWSA will also be looking to recruit new athletes, coaches and officials in the New Year. MWSA, in cooperation with our National Sport Organizations, will be looking to develop and train a new group of athletes, coaches and officials for wheelchair basketball and wheelchair rugby. If you, or someone you know, is interested in becoming an athlete, coach or official please contact the office to learn more about these opportunities.
With Winter now upon us, many of our sports and programs will be winding down for the Holiday break. MWSA will be regularly updating our website with schedules, news, event reminders and useful information regarding our sports and programs, so please check it out: http://www.mwsa.ca
