MWSA offers a wheelchair loan initiative for individuals to borrow a wheelchair basketball chair to be used out in the community. These wheelchairs, available in limited quantities, are great for being used in multiple sports, including basketball, tennis, badminton, etc. and in general leisure and recreation activities, such as wheeling in the community.
Unfortunately, MWSA at this time does not own any additional wheelchair rugby chairs that can be loaned out to community members as most of these chairs are custom fitted to the athlete.
With COVID-19, wheelchair loans will first be distributed to active participants in our programs. If chairs become available after this specific disbursements, other members from the community may request the use of a sport wheelchair.
